I’m not going to lie what originally attracted me to this book was the cover. Just look at it. It is a hot dude cover and it promises (well it promised me) a lot but the book did not quite live up to the hot dude cover I am sad to say. The problem is that Jeremy (aka hot dude cover) is a little self-pitying and pretty damn miserable, and not in the brooding hot kind of way. To be honest Erica was not much better but she had more reason to be self-pitying so I will let her off. Even if she was the main reason that the drama was dragged out a little too far for my taste.
Try Me is a sweet little novella with a cute ending that has more good in it than bad, but it didn’t quite pack the punch I was hoping for.
